The Mass here is very hand clappy and hand shaky, a Novus Ordo to end all Novus Ordo Masses. There's a lot of talking in the pews prior to Mass, as if nobody believed in the Real Presence. The hymns are sometimes evangelical and Protestant sounding. I don't understand this. Why would you want to "inject" a Baptist sensibility? They need a TLM. Less "busybody" lay people at the altar; more tradition, please.

A lovely community. Great for mass. When you're thinking spiritual this is a small out of the way church in Philly. I really like i.
