  I had visited this church few days ago for the 1st time, expecting miracles in my life. But more than miracles or expectations, its the beauty, the serene feel and aura of the church that leaves you mesmerized. ..
  It is worth visiting not once but every single time.
  *The church has a parking space being the main entrance of the church, hence if u don't find road side parking, you can go around the church and park in the compound of the church*

  This is a haven for my soul and has been so for 10 years now! The Shrines of The Blessed Virgin and The Sacred Heart of Jesus are reasons to go in and of themselves. There are Confessions all day until 8 p.m. every Monday, Masses, Benediction and Adoration.However, there is something happening that we need to as a group, nip in the bud! Of late someone put a sign around The Lord's wrists on the Sacred Heart of Jesus Statue and purports to speak for Jesus in the first person telling people to not put notes or flowers in the hands of the statue. Of course we understand how statues can become harmed by constant touching and kissing; however in this case it is the MANNER in which the caretakers of the Shrine handled it that is troubling, when coupled with a general attitude of SOME priest custodians of The Shrine. For example, regarding the sign on the Jesus statue, part of it says, "...My hands are weak..." This is very difficult to take as it seems as if someone there in charge is being very disrespectful. Would you put a sign around an image of your parents' wrist or image of a loved one and "talk for them" such as this? Then why would you do this to an apparitional statuary Image of Jesus? I do not want to see this Shrine ruined by the disrespectful behavior I have been on the other end of myself, and seen from some (not all) priests there. Please attend the Masses and Confessions (which are wonderful since additional priests who are not the caretakers of the Shrine are in the confessionals all day,) on Mondays when you can and be a "check" for things. I have been and I am sure that they think I am a pain; however, I pushed for the covering of a scraped in the face Blessed Virgin Statue which was waiting for more paint and being kept looking peeled and chipped in the face in full public view in the parking lot a few years ago! We have to keep on them because this place is truly a "Little Taste of Heaven" with the Eucharist! Don't let anyone ruin this. Please check out the statue with the sign and write them letters if you hear inappropriate homilies of statues stripped of their dignity. We have to try and help keep The Blessed Virgin Mary's Shrine right and good!
