  My beautiful sister Cindy csink passed away may 2016 we had her funeral with John f Givin is Funeral Home,they are the BEST!It was the most beautiful , most respectful , funeral home . THE staff are so nice and their funeral home is gorgeous . AWE felt good leaving my sister in their arms to do the very best job they did for our family.We miss her so much and will never ever forget her or how nice this funeral is.Thank You for caring the way you all do,I know this is months later I couldn't do this before but I know now my sister is in peace,in beautiful heaven watching over me and my kids.God BLESS YOU ALL;Love,Colleen Ross and Family

  John F Givnish is a dirty underhanded place to deal with. They basically "hijacked" my loved ones body from the ME's office. My advice to anyone considering this funeral home is to give no information about your loved one, because they will take it upon themselves to pick them up without authorization. They were rude, and uncaring about our situation. They claimed that I had given them permission, and I absolutely did not. In fact, I am not the next of kin, so that alone would've made my permission irrelevant. I only called for information, for my young son, and to possibly set an appointment since no funeral director was available at the time.
  We went to another funeral home and made all the arrangements, due to time constraints and then I found out today that Givnish had already picked up the remains. When I called to ask how that could happen, he said "my notes indicate that you gave your permission to a funeral director ". He lied. He also said that I spoke with a funeral director, when I was explicitly told that a director was unavailable. I spoke with their secretary. I'm just putting this out there to save anyone else from unnecessary grief. Be wary when dealing with these people. And again, DO NOT give the name of your loved one unless you are absolutely sure this who you want taking care of your loved one.
